Client: Fife Council

Location: Pittencreiff Park (The Glen)

Time Scale: 2 weeks

Design Team: Fife Council

Challenge

To supply and fit a range of external Public Information Signs throughout the park. This included welcome signs, banners, map signs, interpretation signs giving information on the various features of interest within the park and finger post directional signs allowing the public to navigate their way around the park.

Approach

Sign Plus conducted a detailed site survey of the premises along with the Urban Park Ranger from Fife Council. The detail of the survey was then incorporated into the design to ensure that everything fitted into place.  An item by item quotation was then presented to the client for approval along with print samples to allow the client to check colour reproduction and print finish.  Once approved Sign Plus went into production fabricating the signs and digitally printing the graphic panels. Installation then took place over a period of two weeks mainly due to the very wet weather conditions.

Results

The client was absolutely delighted with the end result and thanked us for a job well done on a very short timescale.

Visitors will now benefit from the information and history detailed within the signs sited around the park which is presented in vibrant eye catching format.
